There are two types of links you can insert into a page. One is an internal link which will link to another page of your wiki. The other type of link is an expternal link which will like to another web page.To make a link click on the edit button to edit the page. Next type in some text that will be your link location. To create the link, select the text and then click on the link button. This will open a widow. If you want to create a link to another page in your wiki click on the wiki link tab. Select the page you want to link to and click on add link. If you want to create a link to another website click on the External Link tab. Paste the address of the website and click add link.
You can create wiki links under navigation if you only want to have links to certain main pages. To do this click on edit navigation below Navigation Options on the left hand side of the page. You will open a edit window. Create wiki links to each desired page.
Widgets
A widget is an application that can be put into a page. There are many different applications you can put into your wiki such as videos from youtube or teacher tube, google calanders, or polls.
To insert a widget start by editing the page. Click on the widget icon in the edit menu. Select the widget you want to insert and you have successfully inserted a widget.
Files to Download
If you want to insert a document for students to download start by editing the page where you want to put the document. Next select the file icon at the top of the edit menu. After clicking on the file icon select the file you want to insert and then upload the file. Click on the file you have just uploaded and you are done.
