To create users in wiki spaces you first must have a teacher account. Making sure that your wiki set as an educators will let you create users for free. If you do not have an education wiki go to Manage Wiki and select Subscription. At the bottom of the wiki you can ask for an education wiki. It will take around 24 hours to allow you to have an education wiki.

If you want to create users go to Manage Wiki and select User Creator. You can create user names and passwords or just user names and wikispaces will generate random passwords for the users. The easiest way to create alot of users is to use excel. Type in a word followed by the number one in column A1. For example, smith1. Next select the cell then drag the bottom right corner down as many cells as you want. There is a limit of 100 users per attempt. Save your excel document. If you have more than 100 students you can just do it twice. Going back to wikispaces you can select the option of uploading a spreadsheet. Upload it and Continue. Make sure you select generate passwords on the next sheet and you will have created new users.
